A historic English translation valued for its traditional manuscript base and enduring influence.

New King James VersionNKJV

Retains the traditional textual foundation of the KJV while using more contemporary English.

Amplified BibleAMP

Adds bracketed wording to display shades of meaning. Most helpful when compared with a formal translation.

New World TranslationNWT

Produced by the Jehovah’s Witnesses and renders important passages about Christ differently from historic Christian translations.
